Community High School of Vermont is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as an Independent High School which awards credits and high school diplomas.


General Education Development (GED) test results are reported by the General Educational Development Service of the American Council on Education to the Vermont Department of Education, who record the results and upon successful completion of the five required tests issue a Secondary School Equivalency Certificate.
